It's a rewarding job working with children with additional needs. Support workers/buddies can make a huge difference to a child and their family’s lives. It can also be a demanding role, it requires someone who is:
A caring, understanding, nurturing and patient person to care and develop each unique child.
Confident to work by yourself as well as part of a large team.
Ability to work under pressure
Work closely with the family and outside professionals to maximise the child's potential
Willing to train
To register with us you need to hold at least a Health and Social Care level 2 qualification, have 2 years experience in a caring environment preferably with children or have a desire to work with children with additional needs and be over 18 years of age.
