Support workers

It's a rewarding job working with children with additional needs. Support workers/buddies can make a huge difference to a child and their family’s lives.  It can also be a demanding role, it requires someone who is:

  • A caring, understanding, nurturing and patient person to care and develop each unique child. 

  • Confident to work by yourself as well as part of a large team. 

  • Ability to work under pressure

  • Work closely with the family and outside professionals to maximise the child's potential

  • Willing to train


To register with us you need to hold at least a Health and Social Care level 2 qualification, have 2 years experience in a caring environment preferably with children or have a desire to work with children with additional needs and be over 18 years of age.
